Morph

This is the level of control a Therian can exert while shape-shifting.

Available to:

• Therians (max)
  
  — requires a level of Metabolism for every level of Morph¹
  
  — requires at least one Form

Notes:

• While in animal form, you gain the senses and instincts of that form.
• If you morph only body parts (known as a "partial shift" or a "partial morph"), you will gain that part's abilities (for instance, a wolf's hearing if you have wolf ears) for as long as you keep that body part.
• You will revert to your human form if injured or sick, or if you fall asleep. Extreme emotion can also cause this to happen.
• Only organic clothing morphs with you; everything else will fall off during the morphing process, but this allows for leather harnesses and such as a way of carrying possessions while in animal form.

Level 1

• Morphing process is painful.
• Takes more than 2 minutes to complete.
• Can stay in animal form for up to 1 hour at a time.
• Can morph 3 times a day.
• Will revert to human if tired.

Level 2

• Morphing process is uncomfortable.
• Takes more than 1 minute to complete.
• Can stay in animal form for up to 1 hour at a time.
• Can morph 3 times a day.
• Will revert to human if exhausted.

Level 3

• Morphing process is uncomfortable.
• Takes more than 1 minute to complete.
• Can stay in animal form for up to 2 hours at a time.
• Can morph 5 times a day.
• Will revert to human if exhausted.

Level 4

• Morphing process is no longer uncomfortable.
• Takes more than 30 seconds to complete.
• Can stay in animal form for up to 3 hours at a time.
• Can morph 5 times a day.
• Will only revert to human if exhausted.
• Can morph single body parts (eg. your nose).

Level 5

• Morphing process is no longer uncomfortable.
• Morphing process is almost instantaneous.
• Can stay in animal form for up to 3 hours at a time.
• Can morph 5 times a day.
• Will only revert to human if exhausted.
• Can morph multiple body parts (eg. both ears, mouth and ears, etc).

Level 6

• Morphing process is no longer uncomfortable.
• Morphing process is almost instantaneous.
• Can stay in animal form for up to 3 hours at a time.
• Can morph 5 times a day.
• Will only revert to human if exhausted.
• Can morph multiple body parts (eg. both ears, mouth and ears, etc).
• Can morph from animal to animal without reverting to human.

¹ "…for every level of…" means that if you want to upgrade a certain skill, then you must already have the pre-requisite skill at the matching level, or make sure to upgrade them at the same time. Example: I want to upgrade my Dracovari's Combat skill to Level 2, so I need to upgrade Hoard to the matching level (2) or higher first. ⇑
