Xanths Children

Xanth's Children are the races created during Xanth's experiments in the early days of Xanthian lore, back before Elysia was even a twinkle in the Creator's eye. According to myth, She made them by crossing human DNA with birds, bats, and particles of the elements themselves. The Vampires, on the other hand, were an accident when she attempted Her first resurrection.

Many Elysians, and especially those followers of the Priesthood of Xanth, consider themselves Her children regardless of their genetic origins. Strictly speaking, however, Humans, Therians and the Dracovari are not.
