The Elysian Fields is a network of realms connected to Earth. Each one is habitable and most were created by Xanth.
You are most welcome to add your own places! Please read the Submissions guide first, and remember to use the Place Template. Realms and regions are admin-approval only.

| Elysia is the main setting for our game. Created by Xanth in 6,300XA, it is roughly the size of Earth but has not been torn down by pollution or human greed. Crystal technology exists side by side with cottage industry and manual labour. Think "Middle Ages with COMs". Not all of Elysia has been explored fully or settled, and rural areas are unprotected so bandits and monsters are common, but the cities and towns are usually safe.
| The unofficial capital of Elysia and the site of the busiest portal, Alexandria is split into unequal halves by a wide river and fertile floodplains. On one side is the walled-in New Alexandria, home of the 5,000 rich, and on the other are the eastern districts ranging from the dirt-poor to the middle class. Alexandria is part of a 300-square-mile city-state called Alexshire so there are plenty of outlying villages to visit as well.

These are really the only locations you need to read up on to be able to play EF, but there's a vast world out there to explore (and that's not even counting the other realms or the unsettled parts of Elysia). Read on to find out more!

Though the youngest of the created realms, Elysia is the busiest, most densely populated and most racially versatile of the non-human realms.

Outer Realms
Elysia is only one of the planets in Xanth's domain. The Elysian Fields are actually made up of several more realms, only a few of which are actually known to Elysians. Some of these realms have been closed to outsiders for centuries but are beginning to open up for exploration. Realms are admin-approval only.

| Nirim is the land of the dragons and the first of the created realms. It is now also home to many Dracovari, but there are still intense restrictions on the movements of humanoids outside of Nirim's only city.
| Created for the Zanaryans, Zanarya was almost completely closed to inter-realm travel for centuries. Now, while Zanaryans are allowed to come and go, no one else is permitted entry into this mysterious place.
