Evgenia is a Nymph commune populated primarily by Nyads, though also having some Ayads and Dryads. The odd Nereid may be spotted here, however this is usually only just after the Nereid has bonded to their element and has not yet proceeded to somewhere more suiting of their needs.

The commune itself is more of a large village and has a population of maybe around 800 individuals if you count children. It is a female commune with a Sidhe counterpart named Ehren only a few miles along the edge of the lake. Evgenia has five Naneths at any given time due to its size. It also has at least one Sylph (as well as an apprentice Sylph), and a party of Furies to protect it.

On occasion you will see an Anyeli or Therian amongst the commune due to its distance being not all too far away from both Acheron's Fort and the Therian sanctuary of the Rowan Caverns. These are typically met with suspicion as the inhabitants of Evgenia are not particularly welcoming of non-nymphs. Anyeli warriors, especially, have become known as ill-omens to the town, and if a large Anyeli feather, especially that of a Skotadi, should fall near your home it is believed to be a warning of terrible things to come.

In general the village is peaceful, and the buildings are mostly formed from clay and various aquatic plants depending on how close to the water they are. They are completely self-sufficient and meet all their needs through their symbiotic relationship with nature.

The village also has an interesting tradition that commemorates the beginning of spring in which talented Nyads and Dryads will form pairs in order to manipulate the vast underwater forests of phikeia that grow near the town. This has become a friendly competition of sorts, though as of yet no prize except for local notoriety has been awarded.
