Description: Reah was quite the beauty in her day — just ask any of the men (and women) who had courted her for years. Actually, Reah is still considered beautiful, even by Sylvan standards. She's ethereally pale, with long, almost white-blond, hair that only has traces of silver shot through it. Her eyes are a luminescent violet, and some swear that they are the kindest and loveliest they have ever seen.

Admittedly she's gained a few wrinkles in recent years, but they are hardly noticeable. She's kept her trim figure, and her fingers are as nimble as ever. Reah is of average height for a Nymph at 5' 6". When relaxing, she wears flowing, light robes. If she should be working on her loom, sewing, or any other project, she usually dons a simple white wool dress with a pretty sash tied about her waist.

This Nyad is subtle with her intelligence. She's very willing to play the role of a sweet and innocent older woman that leans too much on her husband, for then people tell her far more than they would otherwise. This is partly how she's helped to keep order in Silas. Reah loves her family dearly, but she has a stronger commitment to the people of her commune. She's the kind of woman who can be depended upon to make decisions that will benefit the greater good and not just what would be best for herself or her family.

Reah inherited the duty of being a Warden of Lake Bethesda from her mother, Ianthe Sophronia. She protects a portion of the lake that is closest to her home village of Silas, and the land that is connected to that portion. She's known as the "Water Weaver" or the "Weaver of Water", and she's not too shy to demonstrate why if asked. Reah has mastered making multiple intricate patterns with her element, and makes a point to do so for special occasions. She's also a fantastic cook. Her phikeia soup is the best in the village, if not the world! (Or so her family says.)

Her son, Ianos, was supposed to be her successor as a Warden of Lake Bethesda. Because of what she'd hoped for him, but mostly because she loved him so, when Ianos disappeared and never returned, Reah took it especially hard. Her granddaughter, Euphenia, reminds her of Ianos — so much so that, even though her Phen isn't showing signs of being interested in taking up the family mantle, somewhere in the back of Reah's mind she still hopes for such.
