Age: Unknown (neither he, nor Xanth, can remember how old he actually is, but he has lived longer than imp dragons usually do thanks to her 'help')

Occupation: Xanth's pet, and thief

Description: Faroah is only six inches long, not counting his long, whip-like tail. His hide is a vibrant scarlet-red like so many other fire imps, but stories suggest that the unique lilac shade of his small bat-like wings was a gift from his pet goddess, Xanth. His eyes are red, their jewelled facets reflecting a variety of hues like rubies.

Faroah, like many imp dragons, has very little common sense and is a raging kleptomaniac. Obsessed with "shinies" and "pretties", he tends to leap into the fray to take what he's claimed as his regardless of the danger he's throwing himself into. He's perhaps even more reckless than the rest of his kin since he's confident that no matter what he does, Xanth will always be there to rescue him and heal him.

For the same reason, he loves guzzling "yummies" like there's no tomorrow, from the juicy firebugs he hunts north of Alexshire and in the Fae to the cookies and chocolates he can squeeze out of Elysians with his "awwww, so cute!" looks and cheeky begging.

Faroah loves to spend time napping, be it in the soft curve of a smooth rock near a trickling river or the rough bark of a tree branch. His favourite spots are the cool marble of Xanth's throne (in her Temple) or his own nest. He's particularly proud of this nest, since it's the "largest, prettiest, shiniest, hugest nest ever" and "all the other dragons are green with jealousy". (Whether this last is true is debatable; Faroah certainly is convinced of it!)
