Bran "The Collector" FlynnName: Bran "The Collector" Flynn Gender: Male Age: 26 Occupation: Collector Description: Tall, dark, and handsome. No, seriously. It's a rare thing for anyone to get to know Bran well enough to remember much more than that, though they often add their own descriptors into the mix. "Weird" and "anti-social" are popular choices. He's odd in that while he resembles pure beefcake, he's incredibly intelligent. Bran only speaks when necessary. If it were up to him, he'd only use his mouth for eating, hunting, and preening (the latter two when in animal form, of course). His voice is actually quite pleasant to listen to. Its tone is usually very soft, almost teasing the ears of those who hear it. Bran is six feet and seven inches of heavily scarred dark mocha skin flowing over muscle. The guy looks like he works out with heavy weights every day, but in truth it's more his lifestyle that keeps those abs and pecs so chiseled. Between his sisters and their hunts, Bran gets more than enough exercise. His hair is really long (for a guy), glossy, and black as a shadowkin's claws. He keeps the thick mass in a single heavy braid that reaches down to his waist. That braid was mostly burned off once. He learned to be more respectful of lampyridae after that. Another time he had to give himself an improvised haircut to avoid being dragged to death by a desert lion. Despite those and other incidents, Bran just keeps growing his hair back out and re-braiding it. His eyes are so dark a brown that they appear black, and when he does deign to look someone in the eye, their gaze is piercing. He is called "The Collector" because that's what Bran does, collect useful body parts from various creatures. Sometimes he collects the creature itself, such as when he "black bottles" swarms of lampyridae. He and his sisters have traveled far and wide to provide specimens for Bran's collection. To be clear, Bran does not poach, nor will he ever endorse over hunting. Enid is his ambassador when it comes to addressing local authority and requesting harvesting rights. Without the rights, Bran's code of honor will have him and the Tunnel Runners abandoning the hunt to seek a new target. Bran will use some of his collection on hunts when he deems it necessary. However, the rarer the material, the less likely he is to use it. Should the life of someone worth helping (according to Bran) depends on his generosity, then he will sacrifice whatever he has to in order to save them. For combat, Bran dual wields large curved daggers. These are sharp and jagged, designed to hurt more coming out of a wound than going in. He also owns a longbow with a variety of arrows, each with a different purpose. He crafts the arrows himself. He is a slow morpher that can change into the forms of a panther, a raven, and a black cheefle. You can only imagine the teasing he's endured from his sisters about that last one. Bran gets his black hair and dark eyes from his mother, Bree, but his height and body shape he inherited from his father. Like Aithne, he's never met the man who sired him.
