EF's wiki is divided into groups, or "folders", that each host a different section of the game's information.
When you submit a new page, you need to make sure it's in the appropriate group (see below). This list will also help you find what you're looking for.
- Calendar
- Holidays and festivals. The setting's different calendars. — Member edits and additions are encouraged.
- Category
- AKA "Tags". Adding tags to pages makes it much easier to cross-reference. — Members are encouraged to utilise tags wherever possible, and are welcome to make their own if the appropriate one doesn't already exist.
- Creatures
- A bestiary of EF-specific animals. — Pages require admin approval before being published, but members are encouraged to submit new and fantastic critters.
- Glossary
- EF's lexicon. Meant to be a quick reference guide but quickly became a general "well, this doesn't fit anywhere else" section… — Member edits and additions are encouraged.
- History
- Historical and significant events. — Member edits and additions are encouraged for local history, but significant and global events should be discussed first.
- Library
- A place for in-character legends, myths, stories, folklore, etc that are part of the world and history. — Member edits and additions are encouraged.
- NPCs
- Minor character profiles. — Member edits and additions are encouraged.
- ONPCs
- Profiles for significant characters in the EF world. — Requires staff approval before being published.
- People
- Organisations, occupations, and various other things about the denizens of the Elysian Fields that don't have their own group. — Member edits and additions are encouraged.
- Places
- All about the different areas in the game. — Realms and regions are by admin submission only, but members are encouraged to add smaller locales.
- Plants
- An herbarium of EF-specific plants. — Pages require admin approval before being published, but members are encouraged to add more.
- Profiles
- Pages where wiki contributors can list their characters and track their contributions. Also where we battle each other for fun!
- Religion
- All about the game's religions. — You're welcome to create sects and minor religions but most of it should be run by Emma first. Information about the mainstream religions is with admin approval only.
- WikiTrails
- Bread crumbs that lead readers from one page to another. Useful if you have a lot of related articles. — Members are welcome to create their own trails and add pages to existing trails as they see the need.
- World
- Pretty much anything that relates to the setting and that doesn't have its own group. Includes things like Transportation and Technology, as well as cultural notes that won't go anywhere else. — Things intended for this section should be discussed with Emma before submission.
The following are admin-only groups. You shouldn't be able to edit these pages, so if you find that you can, please let me know as soon as possible.
- Classes
- Information about the species' subgroups, including classes and specialties and any rituals related to them.
- EditTemplates
- Templates for use during submission of articles. The correct template should be inserted automatically when you use the submission buttons.
- FAQ
- List of frequent questions, as well as ones that are temporarily plugging holes in the wiki that I haven't had chance to fill elsewhere. Look here first if you can't find something elsewhere!
- Main
- OOC, game, application, wiki and submission information.
- PmWiki
- Documentation for the wiki's platform (including help with editing pages).
- Races
- Information about the different species, including rituals that aren't class-specific.
- Site and SiteAdmin
- Where all the bad pages go. I mean, uh… all the technical stuff that makes the wiki work. — You shouldn't even be able to see these.
- Skills
- Pages relating to the Skill system.
