Timeline

There are several calendars in use in the realms of Elysia, though the most common in Elysia itself is the Elysian Calendar, XA, which stands for "Xanth's Arrival" and dates all subsequent events from that point.

Other calendars used are:

• ZT (Zanaryan Time), which is estimated to begin about sixty years after the first Zanaryan appeared);
• BC and AD ("Before Christ" and "Anno Domini"), which are the standard Western calendars from Earth that some Humans (especially those who were not born in Elysia) use;
• and finally DC (the Draconic Calendar), which is passed down verbally through storytelling and is not actually written anywhere.

Timeline

Adding Events

To add events to the timeline, edit the appropriate wiki page for that period of history (see Time Periods below). They'll be transferred to the Google spreadsheet periodically.

Make sure to bold significant global events (ones that impact the entire realms), and they should be discussed with Emma before you add them.

Please try to give events their own pages! Adding a war or a plague event to the timeline is great, but writing up that war or plague is even better! :)
