Apali As the Skotadi control darkness, an Apalos controls light. They believe in openness over furtiveness and will choose a full-frontal attack over secrecy. In their Joining Ceremony, they dye their wings white, and their leader is the Arkigo (fem. Arkiga). Apali are not entirely above sabotage nor spying, however, and have learned to keep things close to their chest in an effort to keep their enemies from learning their plans. They have been known to make some of the most brutal attacks in Anyeli history despite their conviction that they, above all others, are honourable and pure. The Leikos Tower at the Cloud Palace is their headquarters and is guarded well, with Apali soldiers posted in highly visible locations to deter would-be intruders, and traps set against the more obvious entries to prevent attack.
